Who Is İHKİB? 
İstanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB), which has been representing the Turkish Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Industry, which has its roots in 1978 and taught export to Turkey, most effectively for years, aims to increase sectoral exports to the highest level in terms of quality and quantity. It is one of the most important companies in the sector, accounting for 70% of the total sector exports. 
İHKİB supports all kinds of trade activities of its thousands of members by adapting to the rapid transformation process experienced all over the world. In line with its goal of making Istanbul a fashion center and Anatolia a production base, it conducts research and reporting, corporate communication, event, organization, training activities, consultancy services, projects, fairs, and publication activities.
İHKİB, which protects the interests of the Turkish ready-made clothing industry in national-international platforms and before the government, to support the exports of its member companies:
- Representing the Apparel industry before state institutions, conveying the questions and problems of the industry to the relevant authorities to support and develop exports, and ensure that solutions are produced by following the issues raised.
- Organizes training activities, design power and innovation studies that will bring qualified workforce to the sector.
- Supporting the value-added exports of the Turkish Apparel industry; It organizes events and organizations that will introduce the power of the Turkish fashion industry to the world (KOZA Young Fashion Designers Competition, Fashion Week Istanbul).
- Organizes UR-GE clustering projects that will strengthen the competitive structure of sub-sectors.
- Digital transformation, fashion design, laboratory tests for export-oriented products, etc. to its members with national and international funding sources. issues support.
- Within the scope of international perception and promotion activities, it cooperates with equivalent organizations in target markets and promotes the sector effectively in the international arena.
- Organize meetings and webinars that will guide the exporting companies and the sector and increase awareness.
- Carries out studies with the relevant Ministries for investment incentive mechanisms that will improve the production and technological capacity of the sector.
- It announces the power of the industry to the world with the virtual-physical fairs and delegations it organizes.
- It produces projects to support its members and the sector within the framework of CSR and Sustainability.
- Provides maximum benefit to exporting companies from export-oriented government supports.
